Our Story
Started by George Spathos who arrived in the United States from Greece at age eighteen, Aberdeen Barn has remained family owned and operated since 1965. George began his Restaurant career with a small breakfast joint on downtown Main Street in the 1950s. He worked there to fulfill his dream of opening a big time steakhouse, similar to those he had seen in New York City upon arriving to this country. The Aberdeen Barn is just that, a big-time steakhouse, an upscale establishment run to the highest standard, yet familiar and traditional,
Today, his daughter, Angela, continues that vision—honoring tradition while delivering the upscale fine dining experience modern guests expect.
Head Chef Angel, Assistant Chefs Daniel & Adiel each have over 20 years of experience in the culinary field. Together with a devoted and veteran waitstaff, they work as a family to maintain the tradition of quality that this class institution.
